TIKEX PRIVACY POLICY

INTRODUCTION

Tikex ("we," "our," or "us") is committed to protecting your privacy. This Privacy Policy explains how we collect, use, disclose, and safeguard your information when you use our mobile application and related services (collectively, the "Service"). By using Tikex, you consent to the data practices described in this policy. If you do not agree with the terms of this Privacy Policy, please do not access or use the Service.

INFORMATION WE COLLECT

Information You Provide

  • Account information: name, email address, and password

  • Business profile: business name, address, phone number, industry type, and logo

  • Customer data: customer names, phone numbers, email addresses, and service history

  • Service tickets: work order details, descriptions, status updates, notes, and associated items

  • Inventory data: item names, quantities, costs, and pricing information

  • Payment records: transaction amounts and payment methods (cash or credit card) — we do not store full credit card numbers

  • SMS templates: custom message templates you create for customer notifications

Information Collected Automatically

  • Device information: device type, operating system version, and unique device identifiers

  • Usage data: features accessed, screens viewed, and interaction patterns

  • Log data: IP addresses, access times, and app crash reports

HOW WE USE YOUR INFORMATION

We use the information we collect to:

  • Provide, operate, and maintain the Service

  • Process transactions and manage your subscription

  • Send service-related notifications, including SMS messages to your customers on your behalf

  • Authenticate your identity and secure your account

  • Respond to your comments, questions, and support requests

HOW WE PROTECT YOUR DATA

  • AES-256-GCM encryption for sensitive personal data stored in our database

  • Secure token storage using device hardware encryption (iOS Keychain / Android Keystore)

  • SSL/TLS encryption for all data transmitted between your device and our servers

  • Progressive account lockout to prevent unauthorized access attempts

  • Passwords hashed using bcrypt and never stored in plain text

  • Regular security reviews and updates

While we strive to protect your data, no method of electronic transmission or storage is 100% secure. We cannot guarantee absolute security.

THIRD-PARTY SERVICES

Tikex integrates with the following third-party services, each governed by their own privacy policy:

  • Stripe (stripe.com/privacy) — credit card payment processing. Payment details go directly to Stripe and are never stored on our servers.

  • Twilio (twilio.com/legal/privacy) — SMS notifications to your customers. Phone numbers and message content are shared with Twilio to deliver messages.

  • Apple (apple.com/legal/privacy) — in-app subscription purchases via the App Store. Apple manages subscription billing and payment information.

  • Railway (railway.app/legal/privacy) — cloud hosting and infrastructure. Your data is stored on servers managed by Railway.

We encourage you to review the privacy policies of these services.

DATA SHARING AND DISCLOSURE

We do not sell, rent, or trade your personal data to third parties. We may share your information only in the following circumstances:

  • With the third-party service providers listed above, solely to provide the Service's functionality

  • To comply with applicable laws, legal processes, court orders, or enforceable government requests

  • To protect the rights, property, or safety of Tikex, our users, or the public

  • In connection with a merger, acquisition, or sale of assets, with notice to you

  • With your explicit consent or at your direction

SUBSCRIPTIONS AND AUTO-RENEWAL

Tikex offers four subscription plans with access to different features and usage limits:

Important details:

  • Subscriptions purchased through the App Store are managed by Apple and subject to Apple's terms

  • Subscriptions automatically renew at the end of each billing period unless cancelled at least 24 hours before the renewal date

  • You can manage or cancel your subscription through your Apple ID account settings or the app's subscription management screen

  • Free trial periods, if offered, automatically convert to paid subscriptions unless cancelled

DATA RETENTION

We retain your personal information for as long as your account is active or as needed to provide the Service. Upon account deletion, we will delete or anonymize your data within 30 days, except where retention is required by law or for legitimate business purposes.

ACCOUNT DELETION

You may request deletion of your account and all associated data at any time:

  1. Go to Settings in the app and select "Delete Account"

  2. Confirm your identity by entering your password

  3. All your data — including tickets, customers, inventory, templates, and settings — will be permanently deleted within 30 days

Active subscriptions must be cancelled separately through your Apple ID settings before or after account deletion.

YOUR RIGHTS

Depending on your location, you may have the following rights regarding your personal data:

  • Access: Request a copy of the personal data we hold about you

  • Correction: Request correction of inaccurate or incomplete data

  • Deletion: Request deletion of your personal data

  • Portability: Request your data in a portable format (CSV export is available in the app for tickets, customers, inventory, and reviews)

  • Objection: Object to processing of your personal data for certain purposes

  • Withdrawal: Withdraw consent where processing is based on consent

CALIFORNIA PRIVACY RIGHTS (CCPA)

If you are a California resident, you have additional rights under the California Consumer Privacy Act:

  • The right to know what personal information is collected, used, shared, or sold

  • The right to delete personal information held by us

  • The right to opt-out of the sale of personal information — we do not sell your personal information

  • The right to non-discrimination for exercising your CCPA rights

CHILDREN'S PRIVACY

Tikex is not intended for use by individuals under the age of 16. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children under 16. If you are a parent or guardian and believe your child has provided us with personal information, please contact us immediately.

INTERNATIONAL DATA TRANSFERS

Your information may be transferred to and processed in countries other than your country of residence. By using Tikex, you consent to the transfer of your data to the United States and other jurisdictions where our service providers operate.

CHANGES TO THIS POLICY

We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. We will notify you of any material changes by posting the new policy in the app and updating the "Last updated" date. Your continued use of the Service after changes constitutes acceptance of the updated policy.
